High Level Coaching
PPA is most recognized for having great coaches. The Premier Coaches coach year-round. They are PPA's most experienced and distinguished coaches, trained to fulfill our mission of developing players between the lines, and outside them.
Partnerships w/ DC United and Washington Spirit
PPA's partnerships with DC United and Washington Spirit are designed to give premier players top level experiences. Our partnership with DC United, through the Pathway to Pro Program, puts PPA alongside the most elite clubs in the DMV to provide top players a clear pathway to professional soccer.
Year-Round Play
Premier teams play all 4 seasons. Fall and Spring season are the main seasons for league and tournament play. Most teams practice 2 - 3 times/week with games on the weekends. In the winter, teams have indoor training and opportunities for competitive Futsal play. In the summer, premier players participate in summer training camps and sometimes international trips!
Competitive League Play and Tournament Play
PPA Premier teams compete in the high quality competitive leagues and tournaments to optimize for quality competition. Our teams play in a range of leagues include NCSL, EDP, Sam Select and a multitude of tournaments including Jefferson Cup, Dallas Cup, Alexandria Premier Tournament, Columbia Tournament, and many more.
International Trips
PPA works with a number of high quality partners to facilitate unique international trip experiences for teams. As part of our mission to develop players between the lines, and outside them, we know these trips can be amazing cultural experiences for our players. In the past teams have traveled to Mexico, Spain, and Portugal.
Pathways to Highschool, College, and
Professional Levels
One of the main reasons families join PPA is because we offer many paths for different players. The premier program is designed to engrain players with a passion for the sport. Some of our premier teams compete at the highest levels in the country, while others compete at more local levels. But no matter what the team is, the premier program aims to build players to their highest potential and get them to the next level.
